Anthony Heron

Anthony Heron is a Research Intern at The Arctic Institute, working with TAI’s Editorial Team. He is currently a Master’s candidate in International Security and Global Governance at Birkbeck, University of London. Alongside this, he has worked to launch new research journals for the scientific publisher Frontiers across a range of areas such as energy efficiency policy and nuclear safety.

Following his graduation from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, with a BA (Hons) in Film and Media, Anthony worked as a journalist where he covered Scotland’s Arctic connections. He is particularly interested in the geopolitics of the Arctic, maritime security, and Scotland’s Arctic relations.
