On February 21, 2023, we will host a free webinar with Arctic scholars Dr. Nafisa Yeasmin and Dr. Heather Nicol for a virtual conversation on Arctic security, borders, and immigration in a climate change context.
Dr. Nafisa Yeasmin will present on the immigration and security aspects of the Finnish Arctic. She is from the University of Lapland, Finland and is the lead of UArctic Thematic Network on Arctic Migration. Dr. Heather Nicol will present on Arctic borders and transnational actors. She is the Director of the School for the Study of Canada and a Professor in the School of the Environment at Trent University.
