High North Series: Business in the Arctic

Friday October 19th, 2018

This session at the Arctic Circle Conference will explore and examine the business potential in the Arctic. This include industries such as fisheries, oil and gas, shipping, as well as social and political preconditions for growth in Arctic nations.

The panel aims to discuss opportunities for growth in different industries, across Arctic regions and states. Panelists will come from both academia and industry, with different approaches to the same questions. These questions include: What are current trends in the different industries and what are barriers to growth?
